• To receive professional adjudication to enhance performance, artistic and literary skills and inspire a lifelong appreciation of the performing arts.
• To promote the Eisteddfod profile at local, national and international levels.
• To provide opportunity for the enrichment for youth in regional and rural areas in the disciplines of Dance - Debating - Highland Dance - Music - Speech and Drama.
