Volunteers

During the Eisteddfod, volunteers are called upon to help out each day with the running of the Eisteddfod. Whether they can help out for a three hour session or multiple sessions over several days, their time and support is greatly appreciated and valued.

Volunteer jobs range from announcing, to front of house, to being a scribe for the adjudicator. Volunteers are required for all sessions – morning, afternoon and evening. Each session runs for approximately three hours with the morning sessions beginning around 9.00 am, the afternoon around 1.00 pm and the evening around 6.00 or 7.00 pm, depending on the discipline. Each coordinator will let you know of the exact time. The disciplines that require volunteers are Dance, Music and Speech & Drama.

Without the volunteers, it would not be possible to run the Eisteddfod. Volunteers will be rewarded by supporting students, individuals, and schools, and allowing them to compete in a friendly and well run Eisteddfod.

If you would like to support the Eisteddfod by becoming a volunteer or find out further details, please complete the form below and we will contact you or email [email protected].
